The Cloud Security Organization is on the hunt for a Backend Software Developer to contribute to the creation of cutting-edge cloud security services. This individual will hold a pivotal position in advancing the company’s cloud security endeavors. We prioritize individuals who are fervent about leveraging innovation and engineering practices to address business challenges, particularly those who excel in regulated environments. As part of this role, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of applications crucial to bolstering the security of the firm’s cloud initiatives. Additionally, you’ll focus on constructing and integrating security services into the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
Job Role and Responsibility
- Combine your design and development expertise to deliver world-class and low-friction security services.
- Produce extensible and maintainable code, primarily in Python and Golang.
- Architect and build highly available cloud native services
- Integrate security services with existing SDLC tooling at the firm.
- Work on a DevOps team, where you will be responsible for both the development and operations of mission critical security services
Skills Required that will help succeed
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Computer engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of Backend Software Development experience in any backend programming language such as Python, Golang, C++ or Java.
- Experience working on an agile team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple engineering teams

- Experience designing and building cloud-native production systems
- Experience with infrastructure security or another security discipline.
- Experience writing infrastructure as code such as Terraform

- Experience designing and building APIs and large-scale data pipelines
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) certification(s)
