- The Product Roadmap aligned with product vision
- Effective Product Backlog management

- Collaboration with technical delivery team to ensure the new functionality lands seamlessly with our business colleagues
- To ensure Lean Control Process is applied throughout the lifecycle of change.
- Engage with other Tech/Business PO’s to discuss work and promote product.
- Act as face of product to Stakeholders.
- Enable build-measure-learn culture
- Act as customer representative to team and explains the value of the change to the business.
- Create product Roadmaps to detail feature delivery and timelines.
- The need to drive metrics to bring to life the delivery of features and associated issues.
- Help elaborate Epics/ Stories to Tech team where detail needed.
- Review and accept of all work completed in Sprint.
- Participate in Story Refinement sessions.
- Participate in Sprint Planning to help team understand the change and ensure priority of work is correct.
- Self-initiate new Ideas/ Product features / enhance existing features.
- Work with the product ownership team, product delivery teams and stakeholders to inspect and adapt the product increment.
- Seek funding opportunities from Stakeholders/Business Areas for new initiatives.
- Work with Projects to exploit their funding to become the vehicle to deliver new features/improve existing as well as their core requirements.
- Engage with users to understand user patterns / behaviours / potential improvements / pain points.
- Analysis prioritisation in collaboration with TDM.
- Prioritise live issue fixes.
- Explore metrics across the product, collaborate with TDM, Tech Lead and Domain Lead to derive team performance with the aim of increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Sign-off on the content of the production releases
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Ensure that Service Levels are defined and maintained
- Execution – Work needs strategic and tactical decision making. Defines product features, strategy including product vision.
- Breadth of Impact – decision taken impact the business stakeholders, colleagues/user base, and department reputation. Making decisions for product roadmaps features, quantifiable business benefits, and measurable success criteria.
- Ambiguity: Define Product roadmap, feature design, process design/ optimisation, rollout & adoption strategy across user base
- Scope, Influence, and communication: Manages a product or major features, high-impact incident response and issue closure. Influences the strategic direction (business and technology) and works directly with Clients on product delivery. Creates strategic documentation and client facing assets where required.
- Domain/Technical: tenured IT professional with significant experience in IAM domain and product management
- People Management: Prior experience in building high performance team and performance management.
Skills Required that will help succeed
- Experience in working in large software implementations with many teams delivering technical change across multiple areas.
- Experience in rolling out large change across multiple business areas and dealing with business colleagues.
- Experience of working in a cross-functional Agile team
- Awareness of various automated testing, continuous integration and deployment tools and practices
- Strong customer focus (internal / external) and product management/ownership background
- Driven and motivated with a hunger for delivering quality change at fast pace.
- Curious and a passion to learn
- Trained or certified Product Owner
- Experience in Lean Product discovery
- Experience with value-based prioritisation practices such as Cost of Delay
