Job Role and Responsibility

  • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Creates architecture and design plans for complex applications, while taking responsibility for ensuring that software code development meets design requirements
  • Collects, examines, combines and creates visualizations and reports from extensive and varied datasets to support the ongoing enhancements of software applications and systems
  • Identifies latent issues and patterns in data, utilizing these insights to steer enhancements in coding best practices and system architecture
  • Plays a vital role in sharing knowledge, experience and insights with fellow team members, guiding and nurturing their professional growth

Skills Required that will help succeed

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Proficiency in React, Java, Spring and Spring Boot Framework and Aurora SaaS
  • Experience in building single page applications (SPAs) using micro-services, Angular, React.
  • Proficient in creating and modifying efficient SQL Queries, as well as optimizing and fine tuning queries for improved performance.
  • Strong problem solving skill coupled with sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Proficiency in building dynamic, robust applications using micro-services
  • Exposure to public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in optimizing database performance
